About Alena
Alena has sewing in her blood and her family! Her aunt, who had her own dressmaking salon, taught her how to sew. The era and glory of Czechoslovak salons fascinate and inspire her. She also gained experience during a practical course with the Czech futurist designer Ivana Kaňovská.
She is responsible for design, pattern making, alterations, and tailoring.
Our family sewing studio is located in Milín, near Příbram. Visits can be arranged by prior arrangement over the telephone.

About Veronika
Veronika has fallen in love with Japan in 2006 thanks to the martial art of jiu-jitsu. Since 2024 she has been a member of Nihontó Kenkyukai, a club dedicated to the study of the Japanese sword. She draws her work experience from creative and dynamic environments both here and abroad.
For the past three years, she has been
leading #purplyworkshop.
